Bold Posters for Deep Ellum

Deep Ellum is one of the most historically and culturally significant districts in Dallas, Texas. It was one of the first commercial districts for African-American communities, and it’s known for its art and entertainment venues. This photography and collage-based ad campaign aims to capture Deep Ellum’s rich and rough charm without perpetuating negative narratives of the neighborhood and its community. The project scope includes design and photoshop.

By collaging imagery that can be found throughout the district itself, the ads reflect Deep Ellum as a melting pot of music, culture, and art while highlighting the community.
